The Duke, an entree the music-themed Groove Kitchen, hit me right in high note. A beef tenderloin wrapped in crisp and flaky puff pastry was
tender and perfectly cooked. It launched a discussion at our table on the difficulties of getting both the steak on the inside and the pastry on the
outside just right. It's like a steak riddle wrapped in a pastry enigma. The mushrooms and onions on top were cooked to that lovely golden brown
and the gravy was a hearty delight.

The Groove really cooks
While food and certain genres of music have always enjoyed a symbiotic relationship -- crooners in the supper club, the string quartet of fine dining establishments to name a couple -- pairing cuisine with rock 'n' roll music seems, at first blush, a bit of an awkward mix.
